Privacy Policy

AI Hairstyler shows new haircuts, hair colors, and style edits on your own selfie, writes cosmetic skin reports, and offers a stylist chat. This policy explains what we collect, why, who processes it, and how you delete it.

Information We Collect

• Account: email address, sign-in provider (Apple, Google, or email), user ID, and the birth year you enter at sign-in. • Photos you add: selfies and photos you choose for previews, skin scans, or the stylist chat. • Results: generated images, saved looks, favorites, and skin reports. • Purchases: subscription status, credit balance, and purchase history (we never receive your card number). • Usage and diagnostics: which screens and features are used, and crash reports. We do not record your screen. • Stylist chat: your messages are sent to write replies. The conversation is saved only on your phone.

How We Use It

To sign you in, make the previews and reports you ask for, check that a photo is usable, save your looks, manage Pro and credits, answer support requests, prevent abuse, and fix errors. We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.

Third-Party Processing

Before we send your first photo, skin scan, or chat message, the app asks for your permission. Once you agree, the data goes to these providers, only to run the app: • Microsoft Azure OpenAI, a third-party AI service: makes your previews, reads skin scans, and writes stylist replies. It does not use your data to train models. • Supabase: sign-in, database, and private file storage. • RevenueCat, Apple, and Google: purchases, subscriptions, and restoring them. • Apple and Google: Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In. • PostHog: product analytics (no session replay). • Sentry: crash reports.

Face Photos and Skin Scans

We do not create face templates, faceprints, or other biometric identifiers, and we do not use your photos to train models. On-device face detection only checks that a photo is usable and is not stored. The skin scan reads visible features in one selfie (such as shine, redness, or blemishes) to write a cosmetic report. In some places this counts as consumer health data, so we ask for separate consent before your first scan, use it only for your report, and never sell or share it for advertising. Skin reports are cosmetic guidance, not a medical diagnosis.

Other People's Photos

Only add photos of yourself, or of someone who has agreed. Do not upload photos of children.

Children

AI Hairstyler is not for children under 13. At sign-in we ask for your birth year, and people who may be under 13 cannot create an account. If we learn we collected data from a child under 13, we delete it.

Keeping and Deleting Your Data

Photos, looks, and reports stay in your account until you delete them or delete your account. To delete everything, open the app and go to Profile › Settings › Delete account & data. This removes your profile, photos, looks, skin reports, and credits right away. You can also email hello@aihairstyler.app. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; cancel that in your store account settings. Limited purchase records may be kept where the law requires it.

Security

Your files are stored privately under your account and shown through short-lived signed links. Credits and Pro access are checked on our servers. No online service is perfectly secure, so please contact us if you think your account was misused.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, or withdraw consent. Email hello@aihairstyler.app. Withdrawing consent stops future processing; delete your account to remove past data.

Changes

If we change how we use your data, we will update this page and, for important changes, tell you in the app first.
